Corduroy, Puma Jie and Wifey Love

October 7, 2007 at 2:52 am | In Corduroy |

I met Puma a few weeks ago and totally fell in love with her fun spirit and completely cool sense of humour.

She sent me some leggings, and I have to admit, they’ve won me over to the side of the leggings and socks. I wasn’t too sure before, because I get overwhelmed accessorizing, but in the past couple of days, I’ve spent more time trying to match clothes to my socks than vice-versa. And, I think, Puma Jie (and Wednesday Soon, if you ask her ;) ) would approve.

First, all of Cordoroy’s leggings are well-made, well-seamed and the pattern matches from one side to the other. Not to mention that they actually look like socks, and not like just blank expanses of design with no *texture* to it. So this isn’t a typical review where I go through each pair I choose to picture, because they’re all the same, quality-wise.

There are many packs and patterns, and several are named after her Wifey LOVE! group, in which she inducts members to bestow her love on. I was totally shameless and asked her straight out to love me XD

Each pair is L$30 each, and there are several Wifey LOVE! 3-packs you can buy for L$75 each. The argyle socks, which are like the black ones I wear above, but in an over-the-knee version, is currently the only style available in a fatpack, which sells for L$150. These are pretty damn cheap for so many different designs that can go with a lot of different looks in your wardrobe.
